You will know NOS from the sports and news programmes on TV and radio, but NOS also has millions of users on NOS.nl and several NOS apps every day. We develop these websites and apps in-house at NOS Digital, while also fully managing the backend. In addition, we experiment at the NOS Lab with new technologies, platforms and story-telling formats for the user of the future.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary Scrum team on digital innovations that make a difference every day. Operational base: Media Park, Hilversum, at walking distance from the station, and with free parking right outside!

Introducing ourselves

NOS Digital is innovative. We build trendsetting sites and apps. Every day. For a wide audience. We do so with an enthusiastic team of some 20 inspired professionals: UX designers, visual designers, backend and frontend developers, iOS and Android developers, Scrum Masters and Product Owners. But we are so much more than that. From soccer coach to Krav Maga master. From sushi enthusiast to vegetarian. From bass player to Tomorrowland visitor.

What binds us is our creativity and our innovative spirit. We have turned our hobby into our work and we want to be the best that we can be. We are proud to work for the largest news organization in the Netherlands, and to contribute to the developments in the media landscape.

Our wish list

You have built apps for a wide audience (in the Google Play Store) before.
You have at least 3 years of experience in Android development.
You have a university or higher professional education diploma (in informatics, media technology, ...).
You are aware that the news is constantly changing, and you are able to anticipate those changes.
You are free to work and live in the Netherlands.
You have a good understanding of the Dutch (business) language. Good enough to be able to survive in a predominantly Dutch spoken environment ;)
